What better way to end a week of parent conferences and a preK Halloween party other than a visit to see Miss Blakeley! I couldn’t miss her first Halloween, so I went over in my costume…a spider on my head! It was a hit…can you tell!?!
Then we had fun dressing her up for Halloween! She is such a cute Raggedy Ann!

The IUI’s are done and now we wait. The sonograms today showed that 3 follies had released as of today…one more was at 22 so it could possibly release I guess. I start porgesterone on Thursday. PLEASE let this work!

TGIF!!!! What a week! So I went in today for another appointment for a follies check and we are getting closer!!!!
Here are the stats:
Estrogen went up to 996 and lining was 9.something. I seem to be stumping him…even on such a low dose my estrogen is rising quickly. He said he is a control freak and is unable to control my what is happening inside my body. Oh well! What this all means…NO SHOTS tonight, but get to go back in tomorrow morning for bloodwork and sonogram…what’s another $180!! Anticipating either a Sunday/Monday IUI or Monday/Tuesday IUI…stay tuned!
After the appointment, I will be off to cheer on the longhorns! Hook ‘Em!

I went yesterday for a follies check and things are moving right along…
Right is still in the lead with a 15, 14, 10, 10, and the left has a 12.5. My estrogen shot up from 117 to 462, so they lowered my dose to 37.7 for last night and then back to 75 for tonight. My lining looked good at 6.8. go back on Friday! That is all for now…off to school…we are going on a field trip to the pumpkin patch today!!

Oh what a Monday. UGH! It started off with bloodwork at 7am, then headed to docs for 7:45 appt, then rush to school in rush hour traffic…I feel like I have been up for 2 days! But who’s complaining…not I !!??!
Got a good report from the doc…Right follies are in the lead with a 13 and 12, and the left follies are close behind with a 10, 9, and 8. Lining was a 4.2 and Estrogen 177, so I will continue with a dose of 75 tonight and tomorrow.

Doing shots at the tailgate…Oh how this phrase has taken on a different meaning at this stage in my life. Just a few years ago, it meant a bunch of twenty somethings were celebrating a Longhorn win with a with a “cheers” and then guzzling down a yummy shot of something or other. Not so much now, as I approach my 30th birthday and struggling to reproduce…I had to give myself a Gonal-F shot at the tailgate in the porta potty (so much for sanitary). Anyway, I did it and it all worked out just fine! We had a great turnout at the tailgate and had so much fun cheering on the Horns for a 56-31 victory against Mizzou. Hook ‘Em!!!

I went today for my baseline and got the “all clear”. Luckily, I still have the unused meds from the last cancelled cycle, and today they used some “credit” that I had (I asked, but didn’t persist…something to do with the surgery $$). I didn’t pay a thing today for a sono! That has NEVER happened!
The shots start tomorrow night and I go in EARLY Monday AM for bloodwork and sono…goodtimes!

CD1 has finally arrived! I guess my irritability the other day was for a reason…whew!! Anyway, we will be doing (dare I say) our last injectible cycle…so big prayers and baby juju are welcome!!! Here we go again…I go in Thursday at 5:00 for my baseline…I’m hoping for the green light!
