Normally I would watch the Oscar’s mainly to check out celebs and what they are wearing….But for the past 3 years, I have enjoyed watching the Oscars so much more…Jolyn and David have been seat fillers and it is so fun to watch out for them, spot them, and hear the amazing stories they have! And they are there againthis year!!!!
Here is who we are looking for…
Two years ago Jolyn sat with the stars from The Departed and David sat with the stars from Pans Labryinth. We will be on the look out for sure and post any shots of them!!!
Jolyn sat behind Leo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, and next to Mark Wahlberg and his chick.
It was a great celebration last night for Amy’s 30th! We planned a day of pamering with a surprise gathering of friends and family at The Grove! It was so much fun planning, hard to keep it a secret, but a huge success!!!
Makeup at Nordstrom
Followed by Mani/Pedi’s at Wynn
Then the surprise at The Grove!!!!
Happy Birthday, Amy! You are such an amazing friend!
Happy holidays to all! I wish everyone safe travels!
We hosted the pre-party to The Global Arts Group Christmas party last night! It was very nice…the house was clean and decorated, and the stars of the evening were…Tank and Vader! They were little angels! We have hosted showers/parties before and they tend to get a little wound up and hyper, but last night they were super sweet angels! I snapped this photo last night during the party…
Vader in his chair and Tank resting in her new favorite spot!
I wish I could post the cute video of us as dancing elves, but WordPress is being stinky right now!
We had a great holiday! I was able to spend quality time with family and friends! Here are some highlights…
Enjoying hits from the 80’s watching the Spazmatics
Cheering the horns on to a sweet victory 49-9 against TX A&M
Sarah (Miss Say-yah) came out to play, too!
Hook ‘Em Horns!!!!
Then we finally celebrated Thanksgiving with a hearty meal on Friday!
Vader and Tank demonstrate how we all felt after eating…
Despite the negative undertone of this blog…infertility woes, I’d like to address that I am blessed in so many ways. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to give thanks!
I am thankful for…
Gary and pug babies
Gary is so wonderful and brings out the best in me and all who surround him. I love him so! And my fur babies…they have gotten me through many days by being so snuggly and sweet!
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive family. And I just adore our latest addition, Miss Blakeley!
I love my friends…near and far. You are all fantastic!
As quaint as it is, I love my house! It is perfect to house the 4 of us (me, G and the puggers!!) and has room for us to grow a little!
Especially during this financial crisis, I am able to feel very secure with my job as a teacher. My students are making so much progress and I work with wonderful teachers whom I consider my friends!
**Note this is NOT my classroom. I just did not have a pic of it at home!**
I am still hopeful in our journey to become parents. I am thankful for the opportunity that science is giving us to continue on this journey.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
