Tank and Vader wanted to wish you a happy 2009!
HO HO HO! Merry Christmas!
I had my first appointment this morning for our first (and hopefully last) IVF cycle. He checked for cycsts and measured my uterus…all was well! I also met with the IVF nurse to show me how to draw up the Lupron and to sign all the consent forms. Next step…I start Lupron Friday morning then return for a baseline sonogram on the 2nd.

Disregarding the 75 degree weather today, it is beginning to feel like Christmas! We had our annual pajama party at school and recieved and gave lots of goodies! Then I headed over to visit with Miss Blakeley for some playtime and santa hat pics!
Tank and Vader are getting into the spirit too!
We went to have the pugs picture taken with Santa! A local dog boutique was hosting and wouldn’t have missed out on this golden opportunity! I am going to save the santa pic for a post closer to Christmas, but here are a couple of photos I took on the way out there…
I just love this pic of sweet little Vader..
Just like her momma, Tank is having a hard time getting out of bed on cold mornings. After we got out of bed and pulled the covers back to expose this cute little butt, she stayed like this for another 5 minutes until we had to pull her out to make the bed. She is not a morning pug!!!
Woke up at 6:15 this morning to discover that today is CD1. Needless to say, I’ve been up since then with thoughts racing around. We will officially begin IVF #1.
A year ago today, I was pregnant (or so I thought…with a blighted ovum) after an IUI cycle. And here we are…still trying. I am excited to try something new, but I am a bit anxious as well…new meds, different meds, more meds. I just want this to work for us.
Today, we are going to take our furbabies to have pictures taken with Santa! It may sound silly to some, but maybe it is my way of coping with this! I’ll be sure to post the pic!

We had a great holiday! I was able to spend quality time with family and friends! Here are some highlights…
Enjoying hits from the 80’s watching the Spazmatics
Cheering the horns on to a sweet victory 49-9 against TX A&M
Sarah (Miss Say-yah) came out to play, too!
Hook ‘Em Horns!!!!
Then we finally celebrated Thanksgiving with a hearty meal on Friday!
Vader and Tank demonstrate how we all felt after eating…
Tank and Vader got into the Halloween spirit too! They repeated their costumes from last year…Princess Leia and Darth Vader!
Then they greeted all the trick-or-treaters!
Our furbabies turn 4 this week! Vader’s birthday was Saturday and Tank’s is Tuesday, so we celebrated on Sunday! They are the sweetest and cutest furry babies anyone could ever ask for!
Happy birthday, Tank and Vader!!!!!
Cuteness x2!!!!!!!
Can you tell they are focused on a treat?! They will do anything for food!

Okay, so maybe they are! I was doing a routine cleaning of their beds yesterday and they just didn’t know what to do with themselves when they couldn’t find a single bed to lay on for an hour or so! Yes, you heard me correctly…I said beds…plural. I’d say they have 4 beds total (our bed and 3 different pet beds)… and we live in a 1600 sq ft house!!!!
Our bed…
Pet bed 1:
Pet bed 2:
Pet bed 3:
As you can see they can snuggle just about anywhere!
